Ten finalists from across the country vie for the chance to become the ‘CEO for One Month’ of a Fortune Global 500 company

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – May 26, 2020 – The Adecco Group, the world’s leading HR solutions company, will host its annual ‘CEO for One Month’ program, Tuesday, May 26 – Friday, May 29. Ten ambitious finalists will face a series of virtual challenges designed to put their skills to the test. At the end of the week, one individual will have the honor of being named the Adecco Group’s 2020 ‘CEO for One Month’ in the U.S., a paid internship opportunity to shadow the company’s executive leadership.

In the weeks leading up to boot camp, the finalists began to get an inside peek into the Adecco Group, learning the organization’s key values and culture. Now as the boot camp officially launches, finalists will engage in a series of activities, such as a virtual escape room and business-related case studies, testing their skills in leadership and innovation. Along the way, top leaders from the company will serve as mentors, and ultimately judges when they choose who will be the next U.S. ‘CEO for One Month.’

“In today’s climate, it’s more important than ever to empower the next generation of leaders, and this is an unparalleled opportunity for them to learn first-hand how businesses are navigating a global crisis,” said Joyce Russell, president of the Adecco Group U.S. Foundation. “There is no doubt in my mind that every single one of these bright individuals will go on to make a positive difference in the world of work.”

This year’s boot camp finalists were selected from a pool of over 5,800 competitive applications, representing more than 1,200 colleges and universities:
